Warhammer 40K Intro Summer Camp - Registration (July 27-31)
After their success last summer, we are excited to bring back our Warhammer Summer Camps at Taps Games. We will be changing the format slightly this year to accommodate returning attendees and to support the growth of a community for our younger players. As a result, we will be running Warhammer 40k focused camps. We will be offering ticket options for new and existing players and will have options for participating in one or both weeks. Both camps will provide participants with the opportunity to explore the hobby of Warhammer under the tutelage of local hobby experts with decades worth of experience. Participants can expect to spend half of their days painting models and half of their days playing games which allows them to end the camps with confidence in all aspects of the hobby. Open to children ages 10-17.
Introductory Camp (July 27-31) $350 per person, 16 spots available - 9am - 4pm (Drop off as early as 8:30am and pick up by 4:30pm. Bagged lunches required
Learn the basics of Warhammer with our hobby experts! You will be given your choice of a Combat Patrol (Warhammer 40k) box that will be your starting point for your army. Registration includes an introductory selection of hobby supplies, paint brushes and tools for gaming.
Lessons will include:
· Introduction to building and painting miniatures:
o Safely while building models, different tools and their uses, glues used for model building.
o Brush care, different types of paint and their uses, basic techniques, basing your miniatures, picking colour schemes.
· How to play Warhammer 40k:
o Core rules of the games, such as understanding Datasheets and dice mechanics.
o What are missions and how do you win a game of Warhammer?
o What is sportsmanship and why is it important?
o Where can you go to play games?

Returns: Unopened, non-TCG products may usually be returned within 14 days. Trading card singles and sealed TCG products are typically final sale.
