The Crimson Grove set is made up of carefully selected and crafted wood that was once thought lost to the world. Native to central China, this decay resistant, sweetly fragrant wood is carefully forested for sustainability.
In 1899, French botanist Paul Guillaume Farges catalogued a rare evergreen tree known as Sichuan thuja. It was thought to have gone extinct not long after, but after a century of searched, was rediscovered on mountain slopes not far from Farges' initial finds.
