BattleTech: Legends - Legend of the Jade Phoenix: Falcon Guard (Hardcover)
Falcon Guard is a novel by Robert Thurston that was first published in print by Roc Books in December 1991 as the third and final installment in the Legend of the Jade Phoenix trilogy. It was later republished by Catalyst Game Labs in EPUB and Print-on-Demand formats as a BattleTech Legends title in March 2016 and February 2021, respectively.
The story covers Star Colonel Aidan Pryde assuming command of the disgraced Jade Falcon Guard and leading them to redemption in the Battle of Tukayyid.

- While the book itself claims all the interior illustrations were drawn by Jeff Laubenstein, they were in fact drawn by Earl Geier. The text in question is unchanged from earlier titles in the Jade Phoenix trilogy which Laubenstein was the interior artist.
- Although Diana piloted a Warhawk during most of her career, the cover art of the book erroneously depicts her in a downed Kit Fox during Aidan's last stand.
- The rescue of Diana and Aidan's last stand from this novel are adapted as part of the final cinematic for MechWarrior 5 Clans: Wolves of Tukayyid, specifically including a homage to the classic cover for the novel.
