During the Maelstrom, the universal balance of the world was disrupted. It became unstable and inconstant, precarious and fluctuating. The Muna, sentinels of measure, seek with patience and devotion to restore this lost harmony. Like gardeners, they cultivate the world to make it less impermanent; like weavers, they connect beings and things together in a grandiose tapestry. Their hope is that, through this recreated link, peace will return to each individual and to the universe as a whole; that, through this understanding, the Tumult will be calmed.
